I'm a restaurant manager, on my feet 9+ hrs in the back of house. the super birki clog has a deep tread; I'm back in the kitchen with soup, sauces, and chicken grease on the tiled floors I've never slipped once. They are super comfy, and the orthotic footbead fits my feet like gloves. My mother LOVES her Birkenstocks, I used to steal them and wear hers. Now I dont have to! I knew Birkenstock made Birki's, but not chef clogs. I had so many different brands of clogs, but once you buy a pair of Birkenstock ANYTHING; you dont go back. They are narrow shoes, I wouldnt suggest them to people with wide feet because of the cork footbed and shape of the arch. They are European sized, and half sizes I'd go up. I will never buy a different brand of clog!! 100% satisfaction with the price, product, and super fast shipping.

Not my first pair! I have worn this style for many, many years. They average about 6 to 7 years, and I wear them everyday and just add socks as needed for warmth (barn work at least 2 hours every day, and yard work about 1 hour average year round), except in extremely cold or snowy weather. I have to replace the insoles occasionally which is a small price to pay for total comfort! Please do not stop making these...

As a chef, I'm on my feet all day and often had sore, tired legs and feet by the time I got home. The super birkis are great! My legs don't feel so tired, my lower back doesn't ache and my feet stay dry. They are sturdier than other brands of kitchen shoes and much more attractive. I would definitely recommend these shoes for anyone who is one their feet for long periods of time.

I use these shoes for work. I work in a hospital operating room but walk throughout the hospital & to other departments as well. They ran a little too small, but the toe area has so much space that it doesn't matter. I think if I sized up they'd slip off. I like how light they are & the sole is so comfortable that I was able to take out the insoles from my last shoes & put them up use in my running shoes. They've been splattered & are easily wiped clean.

I had a pair of these during my residency 12 years ago and they provided me with 3 to 4 years of dependable, durable comfort. This new pair appears to provide the same comfort and have the same construction. My feet normally would ache after a 12 hour shift on my feet in the medical clinic in any tennis shoe. They do not with these clogs and the cork footbed.

I bought these for work (I'm a scrub nurse). I have plantar fasciatis and have tried several brands without much relief. These were PERFECT! My only complaint is that my feet feel hot. I love these shoes. They are comfortable, warm and my feet are very happy when I wear them. I always get comments about my shoes when I wear them (all good, I think the bland set is envious).
