Please don't discontinue making this shoe. I went to purchase and the sizes were limited. I called and found out you will no longer make. I am a nurse and this shoe is excellent for our environment... light weight, SHOCK ABSORBTION, easy to clean, easy to polish, wears well, Lasts a long time, molds to my foot, COMFORTABLE, don't want to take them off, Best thing is they are shock absorbant and really takes the pain out of your feet and legs when standing and walking for 14 or 16 hours. Please make more shoes like this that are shock absorbant if you decide to discontinue this one. Thanks!

The shoes were purchased for work where I am on my feet for eight hours on cement floors and put in a few miles each night. They are great! Lightweight where you do not even feel you are wearing shoes but with great support for my feet.

I wear them if I'm going out someplace casual. I have regular black Birkies that I wear aroud the house, but they look scuffed. I particularly like these new shoes because the strap is convertible and can be used across the back to make the shoe more secure. I'm a senior citizen and have had some spinal fractures, and my doctor is not happy with clogs. I have foot problems, so I mostly stick to Birkenstocks. The soft footbed is great! No uncomfortable breaking-in period. I love these shoes!! If the surface looked a little classier than matte rubber it would be perfect. ()If they're supposed to look like suede they REALLY missed the mark!)

I have been loyal Birkenstock lover for years. I never tried the soft sole before and may have to convert all my shoes to soft sole. The extra softness is noticeable and I find myself choosing my work clothes around my need to have on the "softies" A really nice addition to my show options.
